Review: KidKraft Play Kitchen

Esmé (30 months) has been practicing her waitressing and short-order cook skills. Her specialties are ice cream (baked exactly 2 minutes and 41 seconds, then cooled before serving), burgers with ALL the toppings, and OJ or chocolate milk. Now that I think about it, that sounds like a perfectly balanced meal - all our nutrition lessons have been paying off!

We packed up our hand-me-down play kitchen just before the in-laws and the big container of stuff arrived last month, and are eagerly awaiting the finishing of our schoolhouse so we get it back out again. A girl's gotta keep on top of her kitchen skills, you know, and I can only handle so much egg breakage in our real kitchen.

Pretend Play Kitchens has some terrific play kitchen options for the little girls and boys out there! The KidKraft Grand Gourmet Corner Kitchen looks fabulous in pink and has the accessories to cook just like mom - perfect for the 2- to 6-year-old girls I know...

Priced at $194.95, this is the newest model just released by KidKraft. From sturdy wooden construction, it includes fabric curtains and a metal pot, pan, and spatulas. It fits compactly in the corner (36.22"W x 12.32"D x 36.02"H) but still is large enough for multiple kids to play at the same time. And it's got storage space for any dishes and play foods you may have collected already.

I can just picture Miss Esmé in her all-pink fall outfit, baking up some strawberry ice cream in this little kitchen... And check out that phone on the fridge. She'd be the queen of multi-tasking in no time!

Disclosure: We did NOT get a kitchen set for review, sadly... :) However, we WILL receive payment of $10 for posting about this play kitchen product.

That is the cutest kitchen ever. My daughter would've loved that when she was younger. (Well, actually, she'd probably still love it!)

Thanks so much for entering your URL over at my blog for Mom-Monday! It's always great to "see" you!
