This is me with my favorite baby doll just after I turned one. Ms. Catherine helped me tie her on my back with a blanket.
Grandma bought this doll for me from Salvation Army while I was still in Mommy's tummy. She said "Mama" and cried and laughed, but she doesn't say anything anymore. Maybe cuz the battery is dead, or maybe cuz I've put her in the washing bucket too many times. I don't know.
But I still take care of her and feed her and sing to her and rock her and color on her head with my markers and take her clothes off.

As always, you are adorable, and I can't wait to hear about the p's.
Love the photo Esmé! You are getting way good at self-portrait photography and at such a young age. I can't even tell how you are holding the camera... maybe it's on a tripod with a timer. Ü
Esmé you sure a beautiful little girl.

Wonderful shot, wonderful smile. I will dive into my photo files and pick a good one to answer your meme. Thanks for thinking of me. ♥
I love seeing her carry her babydoll on her back! Esme is so talented. I sure couldn't do that with my baby. Never really figured it out.... ;)
I think I can do this one! Come check my blog later.

It was nice to hear from you again. Your blog was quite for a while and it worried me after the twilight zone post (o: Glad all is well. Are you moving back to the states or an in country move? Good luck either way. Good bless you sweet girls!
ah! that photo just transported me back to my time in Africa! I was 6 months pregnant with my little bean and all of the women were showing me had to tie him on:)
Esme,
I submit that you cannot get any cuter! Truly, you are adorable!
Blessings to you, sweet one.
what a creative way to do a blog.

awe too cute.. she's a babywearer... :)
sweet little esme, it's ok that your baby doesn't work anymore. cleanliness is next to Godliness... and if she need a bath, she needed a bath:)
much love,
dani
I love this photo. I still have my very first doll and she has been repaired several times in her 47 years. Her nails were painted with polish when I was 5 or 6 and I used embroidery thread to sew a tear in her body..it's still there. Dolls are special and ageless!
What an adorable picture! And what a cute expression she has on her face!
Thanks for your sweet comment today. :)
Love that picture...you can never start babywearing too young! ;)
This is such a great photo! Thanks for tagging me. My post will be up this weekend sometime. Be sure to stop by and take a look!
I'm loving the babywearing!
Steph
Look at those eyes.
Wearing a baby on your back - "it's a great trick!" And doesn't she look proud? :)
Man, those baby blues...so gorgeous.
You are SO cute with that baby on your back!
What a great photo! So many people comment on my babywearing, yet it is the norm in so many non-US cultures.
Look at that little dollywearing mini Mama!
