Messages

This month’s Unplugged project is “messages.”

So 3yo Esmé has been writing messages to her daycare friends, using a backwards top-secret code.  Bet you would have never figured out if I didn’t give you a clue…

On the more educational side, we’ve been working with Esmé on memorizing her Pappa’s cell phone number and learning how to leave sensible voice messages:

1) Who you are
2) Why you are calling
3) What you want the recipient to do

So she’s thought through lots of scenarios where Mom broke her leg, etc. and Esmé needs to call…

The secret code is too cute. I love the idea of working on leaving messages. Brilliant!

That is so cute! And no, I NEVER would have cracked the code without your clue... ;-)

Thanks so much for joining in the "Unplugged Project" this month!

(BTW, working on leaving phone messages is a really good and wise idea.)
