Fashion Friday

Welcome to the latest and greatest in kid fashion!

If you've got some great fashion going on in your house, go post your fashion photos of the week, come back and link up, and then grab your sparking grape juice on ice, sit back, relax, and enjoy the show!

Now this picture here looks like some fun interaction between me and the neighbor cat while on our walk, right?
Nah, it's really a picture of my favorite yellow sparkly "walking" shoes!
Speaking of foot gear, Mommy's bunny slippers have definitely made a comeback amongst 2-year-old fashionistas.
If your Christmas decorations are still out (ours aren't of course!), tinsel garlands make excellent belts for just the sparkling touch. See?
Speaking of Christmas, I've been putting the snowman blanket from Grandma to good use.

See, it's perfectly acceptable to put your pink potty in the middle of the living room to do your business (contrary to adult nightmares). You just need to fully cover yourself with a snowman blanket so no one can see you. Like this:
OK, folks, here's where you get to share the catwalk! Link up your favorite fashion shot(s) of the week...

I so enjoy Miss Esme's flair for fashion. Maybe my [flash from the past] post today can be fashion related... I will have to pull photos from my kiddos from back when. I will link if I do.

The other day, Riley (age 5) went to a b-day party dressed in blue flannel lounge pants covered in snowmen, blue Thomas the Tank socks, a black Pittsburgh Steelers l/s tee, and a black Wake Forest football jersey over that. The mom hosting the party said she loved his ensemble! Sometimes I wish I had the guts to walk out the door wearing whatever I want without caring at all about what other people think! :)

my dear esme,

it's been far too long since i last visited. i have been meaning to stop by when i have a lot of time in which to catch up with you.
time? well, i never seem to have much.
however, i want you to know that i think about you often and hope to catch a glimpse of the little mermaid i hear you have at your house today!

much love,
aunt dani xxx

ps. you are the CONSUMATE fashionista, and your pink potty may be your best accessory to date;)
