I haven't subscribed to many blogs lately, due to time constraints. But I made an exception this week when I discovered ...where laughter lives. The Riggs Family Blog.
Their blog isn't a conventional missionary blog, but I think you'll agree that it fits the true definition of "mission." Brent Riggs is a personal growth consultant with a number of ministries you can check out online. But the bigger story on their blog right now is about their little girl, Abby.
Abby has one of the most beautiful smiles I've seen. Born in Guatemala, she was adopted at six months and is now four years old. And she has leukemia.
Say a prayer for Abby and her family. Check out The Riggs Family Blog. And in the process, I've no doubt you'll be blessed yourself.

We are looking for more missionary blogs to feature on Mission Sundays! If you have recommendations, please let us know via a comment or email.

Shop online at Amazon.com, eBay, and more and support our Zimbabwean orphans! A percentage of all purchases made through The Link Mosaic charity mall during the month of March will be donated to our orphans.
AS OF 3/10/09 we earned:
- Ebay $7.40 ( 20% of the sellers fees)
- Amazon $25.40 ( 4% of transactions)
- Others $3.50 ( 2% from staples I think)

I just hate sad stories.
Especially kids with cancer.
Yes, I will pray for her.

Thanks for sharing this info.
I've tried to put your Zimbabwe link on my blog, but I can't figure out how to get it to work. Still playing with it.
Not familiar with any ministries, but have you heard of Molly Bam? I'd love to share her story, if you've not already heard it.

Thanks for stopping by my blog! Hope you visit again. Just said a prayer for Abby.
I'm not going to link over there - but I will pray for her. *I can't take the tears - as I've followed three deaths recently in blogland and I'm emotionally drained!
Strange how we get so attached to people we meet on line.
Sending prayers.
What a sweet little girl. Thanks for sharing this.
Sending love, thoughts and prayers her way.
Smiles,
Wifey
