PhotoHunt theme is "scary," and Mommy was wishing she had a photo of me "shaving" myself with Daddy's razor using toilet water. I don't know what's so scary about that. I watch Daddy do it and I know exactly what I'm doing. Though Daddy says to make sure people know he uses sink water and not toilet water.
Since we don't have a photo of that, here is a photo of our stairs. They don't look so scary to me, but Mommy says it could be very dangerous if I fell off the top. So we always have to make sure the stair gates are closed, and I have to hold someone's hand whenever I go up or down the stairs.

Those are beautiful, but definitely scary when you have a little one!
Wow, those are some stairs! I would say they're scary too.
I can understand why mom finds these scary.
Ooh, definitely scary for little ones...but they are beautiful though!!
Love the shaving story. My 2.5 year old daughter's chin just healed up from having been red and sore for a week after she tried shaving, too!
As clumsy as I am... glad these stairs are not in my house. Tony would get tired of holding my hand and makig sure I didn't fall...yep total klutz.

The thought of your little girl shaving herself with toilet water made me smile...although the few times that Savannah has found my razor and tried to shave her legs, I freaked out, so I know how scary it is!
Love your stairs!
I can see why those would be scarey to mom ;) thanks for the giggle- the toilet water shaving imagine in my mind is priceless!
Yes they do look scary! When my youngest was little we put her in one of the old "now extinct" walkers. And here is why they are extinct...she fell down one step in it from the kitchen to the utility room.....twice. The second time I threw it away! She was not injured but was bumped and bruised.
oh winding stairs looks really scary, kids should not be left along if that is your stairs..

I watched a segment of 60 minutes tonight about Greg Carr and his work in restoring the Gorongosa National Park. I was impressed with his humanitarian efforts. I know you and your family do the same work and I just felt the need to say Thank You & I admire your efforts.

They do look pretty scary, yet beautiful. I bet your home is gorgeous!
Oh wow!! For real, those are indeed scary. I am glad this Grammy does not have to use those stairs. Be careful sweet girl.
Oh yeah...I think I'd find those stairs scary too...for little ones, and for me! I've been known for falling down stairs!
slippery, twisting, steep stairs...I'm scared, but I have a thing about falling down stairs anyway! Esme would probably fare better!
Yikes! I agree with Mommy on that one Esme!
Yikes; people who build stairs like that must be childless. Esme, they are scary for this mommmy, too, and Owen's grandma has a set!
Both of these things are scary to me. Be careful, Esme!
beautiful staircase & great perspective. :-)
j, that staircase IS beautiful... but definitely gateworthy!!! esme's shaving in the toilet is hilarious; she is a funny one:b
love,
dani
I would be a wreck!
Oh how my son would love to climb up and down those! :)
shaving....yeah that can be scary...my 4 year old shaved her legs with her older sisters razor...I must admit she did a good job but oh my goodness I was freaking out....not to mention 4 is a wee bit early to shave your legs.... Your stairs are beautiful but they scare me too!! :)
Trouble with a capital T. Those stairs will be good for her, but in time! You're a good mom!

I say scary too, for you,........but they are gorgeous!
I love those stairs, but I see how they would be scary with a toddler in the house!
Wow, I would be scared to have my kids walk down those stairs, too! Knowing me, even I would fall. :-)
