Followed you over here from Sarah Mae's blog --- about women not being in a place of "power" over men in the church.

I wanted to share that I agree with you completely. I find it disturbing that anyone would suggest God couldn't, or wouldn't, or doesn't use women to spread His word, to bring people to salvation, to heal people, to bring wisdom and comfort.

I've gotten a lot from women like Billye Brim and Gloria Copeland. I don't believe that God (especially in today's day and age) would limit His power to only men.

Maybe it touches me more than it would normally because I'm finally now answering the call He has on my life to get into "ministry". Though I don't believe that calling is to stand at a pulpit at my own church every Sunday, I do know it involves spreading His word in some teaching capacity.

I wouldn't do it if I didn't KNOW it was from Him and not just my own desire.

Anyway - wanted to say I agreed with you ... even if I'm one of the few that seems to have agreed.

What a typical Pacific surf. I have been there many times fishing from the beach. The rare calm day is always welcome, but usually it is like it is in your photos. Was this recent? Looks cold, but you guys are still in the water!
