Coast!

What's better than eating popsicles? Eating popsicles with cousins, of course!

Yep, Mommy and I drove up to see my 7 C cousins up in Portland on Saturday!

I LOVE my cousins! Just don't ask me ALL their names, or I will go cry on Grandpa's shoulder.

And by the time you're reading this, I'll be out at Gleneden Beach with my Grandma & Grandpa.

Since we won't have internet access there, I thought I'd share some coast photos with you so you can be with us in spirit.

We went to the coast 2 weekends ago to celebrate "C" school! Don't you love how the coast works with so many letters - aquarium, beach, coast, dunes, elephant seal, fish, ocean, sea, waves, you get the idea...

Actually, the reason we went was for Pappa to get in a game of raquetball in Coos Bay. What's a 2-hour drive when it comes to raquetball, huh? Here I am hanging out at the gym.

But then we got pizza and went to Sunset Bay. And here are some photos. It was sunny when we got there...

...but by the time we ate, the fog had rolled in. No less fun, just a little cooler...

Thanks for the pics! I have been bemoaning the fact that it looks like we won't be making it to the coast this year because my husband is in summer school. The Oregon coast is my favorite place . . . I can't wait until I can take Wes!

The only image more powerful than a beach is a beach with a child playing on it. Definitely a perfect combination.

What a delightful series! So glad you had a memorable trip.

This is a nice and cheery post. I was in such a sad mood yesterday... I did not even log onto blogland... or surf the blogosphere. I am sure I missed something. I am in a better place today... thank goodness.

Wow, I love the photos. I live in Santa Barbara and just love the water. I'm not a sand person but I love the water.
