Wordful Wednesday - OMSI

We went to OMSI yesterday - me and my cousins. There is some awesome stuff there! I could play there all day for days, I'm sure!

So let's see... First we invented some ball boggling ideas in the ball room.
Then we experienced an earthquake in the earthquake house.
Then we floated sailboats using a wind machine. And we played in a sand area with all kinds of cool toys. But I got in trouble for throwing sand at another girl. I don't understand why.
After that I put on a smock and rubber boots and we played in the water pool.
And we saw lots of pretend animals and I gathered acorns and stored them away for winter and went into hibernation in this cave. And my cousins showed me how to drink from a drinking fountain. And then we sat around FOREVER and waited for the boys to join us for lunch.Later that day we saw a movie in the Omnimax. It was about mummies! There was a great big screen, and it felt like we were right there in Egypt! At first I kept saying, "Wow! Woah!" I watched the WHOLE thing and only had one little fright when it seemed like the sand was caving in on us. Here we are after the show.

After some good quality time in the gift shop, we went back home. I love spending time with my cousins, but boy am I tired!

Children's museums are the best! We have earned back triple the value of the yearly $55 membership of our local museum. And there are so many cousins to choose from... how wonderful to have such a large family.

So fun! OMSI was one of my favorite places to play when I was growing up too. I can't wait to take Wesley there for a visit when he is old enough!

They have some of the exact exhibits that we have at our Science museum! Makes you wonder where the "Science Museum Store" is. . . hmm.

Looks like a lot of fun. We like going to our local children's museum. I'm hoping to have the funds to get a membership soon.

Thanks again for visiting my blog.

Thank you so much for your comment on Like a Warm Cup of Coffee the other day. It's always difficult to know what to do during a tough time.

Thanks again for stopping by!

On our trip home, we drove by there yesterday - and we were commenting on the cars and school buses parked down there (we could see it from the freeway)
