Tiny Talk Tuesday

Esmé (22 months) said her first memory verse this week: "God is love." 1 John 4:8

---------------
I heard her calling from the other room: "Hi, Mommy!" So I went over to see what she was up to.

She was happily chattering to "Mommy" on the phone. I tried to talk back, but she motioned for me not to interrupt her phone conversation with me.

--------------
Apparently the last phone call was for Dolly. I'm not sure who's on the other end this time around.

How long did it take her to learn the bible verse? That is so cute. I am so looking forward to my little one getting old enough to do things like that with . . . :o)

Did children always learn to talk on the phone so early??? Charlotte even has her own cell phone (an old one we don't use anymore).

I wonder how long it will be before Esme or Charlotte asks to Skype the other one!

I love the phone talk. My daughter still does that and she's 5 - smiles! And, yes - she's already asking for a real one!

LOL at the "no interrupting" hand motion! Boy they pick up everything.

Precious verse!

what a great post. love the verse! we have started a different verse for over a year and she does some hand motions...it is Romans 3:23...it was the first verse I remember memorizing. but God is Love is a great verse to start on...we will have to teach her that one soon!
