OLZ Wordless(ful) Wednesday

Today's Wordless Wednesday features photos from Papa's trip to Zimbabwe last November.

Here are some shots near the city of Mutare. Isn't it just gorgeous?

A rock climber's mecca...
Unloading maize at the orphanage.

The orphans with a couple of volunteers.

Papa plays soccer...

The soccer spectators in the stands.
Some candid shots of the orphans.

Boy those top shots... the colors really pop! It is so hard to describe the magic of nature by saying it's beautiful.

All of those loving faces... they look so happy. They have accepted the life they have and are probably thankful for every little thing... especially life itself.

It is too bad that the more people have the less thankful they are... they just start taking all the credit when it is God that gives us what we have. It sure makes me ponder.

This post is awesome!!!

Great pictures. My post for today is a repost of your info on Zimbabwe. Check it out at

An Arkies Musings

P.S. Maranatha is a great organization. I am not working with them, but I have been involved in a couple of church building projects. I am going to Rio Bravo Mexico in a couple of week to help pout the cement slab for a new church there.
