OLZ Batik Giveaway

Shortly before we left Mozambique, we went to Mimmo's in Maputo for pizza. They have a great open-air setting, and the street vendors can come right up to you while eating to offer you their wares.

Now, street vendors in Mozambique are great fun! They sell absolutely EVERYTHING you can think of. And it's all way more colorful than you'd see in a store. And there's no set price on anything.

So, this time at Mimmo's we were checking out batiks. I got a really big one with animals! It's going to go up in my room whenever I get around to actually having a room again.

And we have two batik giveaways today. Seeing as I like animals, you can guess what I picked out for you...

So take your pick. Tell us which giveaway you'd prefer. The rainbow one or the blue pair.

If you're worried about the creases in the batiks, don't be. The street vendors fold the batiks for easier transport. You just need to iron the batiks between two pieces of brown paper (like shopping bags), and away the creases go. Check out this site for more info.

To Enter to win one of the batik giveaways: All you have to do is leave a comment on this post saying which you prefer. Please make sure you include an email so I can contact you if you win.

You can get up to two extra entries if you (1) post about Operation Love Zimbabwe on your blog, and/or (2) put the Operation Love Zimbabwe button on your blogsite. Please leave a separate comment for each entry.

Entries must be made by 11:59 p.m. PST on February 14, 2009. The winners will be selected using http://www.random.org/ and will be contacted by email.
