We didn't actually get to play at the beach, but we sure saw lots of coastline on the drive. Like this...
I got to take a bunch of photos of all the scenic spots. Here's my persective of the trip.

We got STACKS of dinosaur photos, enough to make a book. But I'll just show you my favorites. Here are me and Gabe checking out this bird...
And I really liked the egg-eating ones.
Of course, the freshly-hatched baby dinos were a hit, too.
Moving on, the next day we checked out the redwoods in northern California. They are GIANT!

Until you really get next to the redwoods, it's easy to forget how monstrous they are. The pictures are beautiful!

One of my favorite beach camping places years ago was right across the highway from the dinosaur forest. It has changed owners and layout over the years and may not even be open any more.

what a fun camping trip, esme:) camping with my aunts, uncles, cousins and grandmommie was my FAVORITE thing to do!!! kentucky lake was my FAVORITE place to go:DDD
