Mongolia Mission

Entertaining two cute lil' girls. Documenting the cute things they say. Cooking. Gardening. Field trips. Birthdays. Trips to the ER for stitches. Coffee breaks.

Sounds like the typical mommy blog, huh? But set it against the backdrop of Mongolia, and you have Michelle Abel's blog. Read about the challenges of assisting the Mongolian people through ADRA. Check it out and enjoy!

And while you're reading missionary blogs today, here's my sister's latest post after her bout with dengue fever in Cambodia...

Wishing you all a blessed week!

Sometimes as I read about other places... I feel anxious, even overwhelmed.

I personally love the idea of fairness and what is good for one is good for another. The statement that 'Life is not fair'. I would always like to follow with 'Why NOT'?

We take for granted the necessities of life. At lease I do. I am so grateful for the sacrafice of many that make the world a better place for all of us.

I woke up with a headache, have taken two doses of Excedrin and it is not subsiding and I whine and complain.

It is humbling to gain insight into the lives of others. You know that old saying... 'don't judge another until you have walked a mile in his shoes'. That comment had to be made by someone that had shoes to wear.

I love being part of a global family as one of God's children I just wish that fairness and bounty were equal for all.

I want to thank you for teaching me so many lessons by provoking deep thought while visiting your blog.

Thanks for the links. I read your sisters post and was so sad that she had to be sick over there ... seemingly by herself. My daughter was sick in an hospital in Afghanistan. At least it was an American Army hospital. Her lung had collapsed an I so wanted to be there. Her team was away in different directions at the time too. I talked to her on the phone and she said, "I am on morphine. I am fine." (o:
