Wordful Wednesday - OMSI

We went to OMSI yesterday - me and my cousins. There is some awesome stuff there! I could play there all day for days, I'm sure!

So let's see... First we invented some ball boggling ideas in the ball room.
Then we experienced an earthquake in the earthquake house.
Then we floated sailboats using a wind machine. And we played in a sand area with all kinds of cool toys. But I got in trouble for throwing sand at another girl. I don't understand why.
After that I put on a smock and rubber boots and we played in the water pool.
And we saw lots of pretend animals and I gathered acorns and stored them away for winter and went into hibernation in this cave. And my cousins showed me how to drink from a drinking fountain. And then we sat around FOREVER and waited for the boys to join us for lunch.Later that day we saw a movie in the Omnimax. It was about mummies! There was a great big screen, and it felt like we were right there in Egypt! At first I kept saying, "Wow! Woah!" I watched the WHOLE thing and only had one little fright when it seemed like the sand was caving in on us. Here we are after the show.

After some good quality time in the gift shop, we went back home. I love spending time with my cousins, but boy am I tired!

Wordless Wednesday - Cousins!

No time to blog - I'm visitin' with my cousins, and we are much too busy! Mommy and I drove to Portland Monday to see them.

But we've got hundreds of photos, so I'm gonna share some with you. Here are the faces...

Not Me! Monday

Well, let's see. There are lots of things I haven't been doing lately. Like not insisting on wearing my monkey mask everywhere, even while I eat!

And I certainly am not acting like a monkey while I wear my monkey mask!

After all, monkeys eat bananas. Wanna know my secret peanut butter banana toast recipe? Well, first you toast a piece of bread. Then you spread peanut butter on it. Then you put sliced bananas on it. Then you top it all with whipped cream.

And you definitely don't eat just the whipped cream and ask for refills of whipped cream. No, a monkey would never do that. They would eat the whole thing. Uh oh, I think I'm getting myself in a quandary with all this "Not Me!" stuff...

A couple of other things - I would never ask for ketchup on my ice cream and then happily eat it that way! That sounds gross, right?

I would NEVER NEVER NEVER draw on the wall with my dry erase marker. I don't like leaving permanent evidence of my mischief lying around.

I wouldn't play in the bath so long that my feet get pruny. Not when I have such cute BIG toes and TINY toes.

And I am definitely not bright enough to figure out how to get the straw into the little hole on my juice pak that I snuck out of my diaper bag while in the car. After all, I'm not even 2 yet. And if I did get the straw in, I would never spill that juice all over myself in the car seat.

Happy Monday, folks!
