Esmé (29 months) knows exactly what she is.
Mommy: "Are you very, very pretty?"
Esmé: "No!"
Mommy: "Are you very, very smart?"
Esmé: "No!"
Mommy: "Are you very, very naughty?"
Esmé: "Yep!"

Esmé was curling up on the couch, looking like a kitty settling in for a nap. But here's what she said: "I am NOT tired. I am acting like an egg!"

While taking a quick trip through Fred Meyer, Esmé spotted a half-mannequin with jeans on - see photo:
"Look! A belly button!" she exclaimed. "The belly button is wearing pants!"
i would say she's very very funny!

ReplyDeleteLOL!! My daughter is 28 months old (born June 07) and the things she says..... She doesn't have as excellent grasp of the English language as your daughter (she still refers to herself in third person and doesn't use the word the...etc) But she still comes up with some funny things - what a fantastic age this is :)
